Our Prayer Concerns....
Church Family,
Bob W. had his cath done Friday night at Wesley. They did find blockage in several arteries. He will need to have surgery for 3 or 4 bypasses. After the bypass, they will clear the carotid artery in his neck a day or two later.
Bob W. will have his bypass surgery on Monday at noon. The surgery on his carotid will likely be Wednesday. He is staying at the hospital the rest of the weekend, and will be in the hospital 7-10 days. Please keep Bob and Joan in your prayers.
Randy Kauffman informed that his grandson Jonas is doing well and it looks like he is going to be fine. Thanks for the continued prayers.
Also, continue praying for Betty Hostetler's family. Her brother's funeral service was Saturday in Iowa.
More teachers are needed for Bible School. There are enough people for the kitchen help!
Please continue to be in prayer for Maria A., who is a sixth grade student. Pray that she will recover and find God. Pray that she will have someone to rely on in the days and years to come. Laurie Yates has her address for those who want to send a card of encouragement to her.
Be in prayer for Ashley Hostetler's brother, Daniel, as he is being deployed soon. Pray that he keeps safe and stays out of harms' way.
Please keep Mike Yates (Pastor Bob and Laurie's son) as he will be studying to take a test for the Michigan State Police. Pray that he will be is making the right career decision. Also pray for their other son, Bobby, as he may move to Kansas City.
Praise report about Charlie. Charlie Bickel was back at Sunday school (May 4th). Please continue to pray for him.
Leslie Roberts' mom is in a care home. She is taking too many pain pills. Leslie's dad is lonely. Please pray for this family.
Bob Wohlschelgel's brother, Doug, has Parkinson's disease and has a struggle to do things. Please pray for him.
Please pray for Laurie Yates' cousins, Sue and Clifford. Sue has been burned over 90 percent of her body and is not expected to live. There was a gas explosion at their home. Please pray for all of the family.
Roger Aldis, Dick's brother, has cancer. He is in great pain and is depressed. Please keep him in your prayers and pray to give him comfort and spiritual help.
Kim Kauffman reported on the Hearts to Hands project. Materials are being donated and many people are trying to help out this woman's house. Pray that more can help and that her home maybe come safe and liveable for her. Please pray for Wanda's health as well.
Roger Masenthin has been trying to reconnect with his mother. Please pray for both of them.
Please pray for those in our congregation who are traveling in the next few days and weeks. Keep that God keeps them safe.
Continue to pray for Jacob Moore. He is needing prayers for the situations that he faces in his daily life. Pray that he learns to follow in the Lord's ways. He needs to rely on the strength of the Lord. Pray for all the things that iritate him to no longer bother him. Pray that he can let things slide off his back. Pray for peace for him.
